OUR MISSION

Our mission is to promote increased participation and understanding of live theater by providing affordable performing arts education and enrichment experiences to youth and young adults as well as affordable access to live theatre entertainment for members of the community, including children, families, senior citizens and disabled persons. We are strongly committed to achieving these aims in a positive, supportive, respectful and safe environment that encourages learning, creativity and artistic self-expression for all participants regardless of age, ability, gender, ethnic or social background.

Our Dream at Poison Apple is to continue to grow so that we can provide more of the following: 

• Affordable, challenging performing arts education classes and performance experiences.

• Foster original theater productions are written and directed by young people.

• Creative volunteer opportunities for young people on stage, or behind the scenes.

• Scholarships for participants who cannot afford to participate otherwise.

• Fun-filled family entertainment.

• Increased appreciation of performing arts in our local community!

• A Clean Creative Space for our Young Artists to feel safe and function productively.
