The Kevin Redrico Memorial Scholarship

Kevin Redrico found joy in music and he brought joy to those who were lucky enough to work with him and share in his talents. Kevin worked with us for 5 shows over 3 years and was instrumental in setting the artistic bar in the Apple Teens program. To honor our late Music Director Kevin Redrico who passed away in April of 2017, the Kevin Redrico Scholarship will be awarded annually to a single individual participating in a Poison Apple show who exhibits Kevin’s high standards of vocal performance.

Recipients are chosen from the audition pool of youth participating in our fall Apple Teens productions and are honored with a full scholarship for participation within the production. These shows then go on to travel to the Junior Theater Festival WEST or Atlanta to be adjudicated by theater professionals from around the world. We hope that this small gesture helps to keep Kevin’s memory and teachings alive.
