ABOUT OUR CLASSES!
Seeds I (ages 5-7)
Our Seeds I Program (ages 5-7) is a musical theater class that emphasizes learning through play in an hour long class, with a culminating twenty minute adapted musical performance.
Seeds II (ages 8 -11)
Our Seeds II Program (ages 8-11) encourages a love and appreciation of theater performance with MTI KIDS musical scripts that are about 30-40 minutes long - the big difference between Seeds II and Seeds III is the age difference.
Seeds III (ages 10-14)
Our Seeds III Program (ages 10-14) encourages a love and appreciation of theater performance with MTI KIDS musical scripts that are about 30-40 minutes long - the big difference between Seeds II and Seeds III is the age difference.
Apple Players (ages 9-14)
Our Players Program (ages 10-15) is an audition only class that expands upon the basic performance skills gained in Apple Seeds II and III. Participants learn more complex performance skills.
Apple Ensemble (ages 10-14)
Our Apple Ensemble Program (Ages 10 - 14) is an audition only production experience that challenges actors in skill, dedication, and artistry of musical theater performance. This troupe will participate in the Junior Theater Festival Atlanta in the winter, as well as mount a fully designed and produced theatrical production at Lesher Center for the Arts in the Fall prior to traveling for the festival.
Advanced Acting Apple Shakes (ages 11-18)
This class encourages young artists' development by teaching advanced acting techniques. Rehearsed for a long period of time to encourage performance confidence and polish, this is an excellent class for drama hungry youth.
Apple Teens (ages 13-18)
Our Apple Teens Program (ages 13-18) is an audition only production experience (the differing from a class!) that challenges Teen Actors in skill, dedication, and artistry of musical theater performance. This troupe participates in the Junior Theater Festival West or Atlanta annually in the winter, as well as mount a fully designed and produced theatrical production.
Main Stage Musicals
Our Apple Main Stage (can be ages 5 adult!) is an audition only production experience (differing from a class!) that brings important storytelling to our community through high quality theater performance and production. Historically we produce 3-4 Main Stage shows per year, including a holiday musical, an original work, and a summer blockbuster title!
