Our volunteer Production Assistants help bring our Apple Seeds productions to life! Assisting in class by leading skill building games, choreographing, staging, assisting with costume changes, back stage support, make up, prompting, and helping our youngest program actors create a fully staged production with our fantastic Staff!

What PAPAs must commit to:

• A full commitment to all rehearsals and performances of the class you are assigned to (of course we work with you when you are available, and one absence due to family vacation or choir concert does not mean you can't participate, but you must be present at tech and shows.) 

• Arrive 15 minutes early to class, and stay 15 minutes late. This gives you time to assist with set up and clean up. 

• Attend one to two PAPA trainings to be trained and refreshed on Poison Apple policies, classroom management, and leadership skills.

• Write everything down in the script we provide you and be the second brains for our teachers. 

• You're the role model for our students - no socializing, or being distracted on your phone or with other PAPA's. Much like rehearsals, we expect you to be present and focused to help the kids be as successful as possible!

 Here's what Poison Apple gives back to you:

• $50 credit earned per session (up to $200/year!) to be used before August 2025 towards Poison Apple programs (non-transferrable.)

• We write stellar letters of recommendation when you need them!

• Invaluable leadership training and volunteer hours can be signed off on for school credit.

• An official PAPA shirt!

• The opportunity to sit in on casting/production/backstage learning.
